St Mary's Church is situated in the heart of historic Linton, in an idyllic setting by the old Guildhall and a small bridge over the River Granta (one of the chalk stream tributaries of the River Cam). The building dates back 900 years but has gone through several phases of construction. Some parts of the Norman building can still be seen. It has a famous memorial to the Millicent family (to the side of the organ).
Nearby there is the Linton Kitchen, various shops on the High Street and some good walks from the church to nearby villages and Rivey Hill from where there is a great panoramic view of Linton.
