Empirical Quartet in Concert

Empirical are one of the UK’s most respected contemporary jazz groups, known for their tight ensemble playing, thoughtful compositions and engaging live performances.

Formed in 2007, the group has built a reputation for music that blends memorable melodies, adventurous improvisation and close musical interplay. Their approach draws on the full history of jazz while developing a distinctive modern voice, with each member an accomplished composer and bandleader in his own right.
