Visitors are warmly invited to St John’s Church, Duxford on bank holiday weekend for a free exhibition showcasing original work by eleven artists from Duxford and the surrounding area. This special event offers the chance to meet the artists in person and experience their work up close, set within the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Grade I listed medieval church.
Exhibiting artists include: Terry Baker (mosaic making), Heather Black (textile art), Mary Howarth (watercolours), Slawek Dejneka (photography), Felicity Devries (printmaking and 2D clay models), Nick Smith (ceramics), Keiko Shimoda (calligraphy), Robert Woodward (wood turning), Claire James (yarn craft), Liz Hartley (printmaking), and Adrian Powter (photography).
Delicious refreshments will be available throughout the event, along with a prize draw. This promises to be a relaxed and inspiring weekend celebrating local creativity in a truly historic setting.
