The Tithe Barn Trust invites visitors to a Heritage Open Day Family History Fair, celebrating the stories and treasures that connect generations. From cherished family recipes to old photographs and documents, the event explores how personal histories are preserved and passed on.
Visitors can drop in to learn the basics of caring for precious papers, as well as discover how to begin tracing their own family tree. Set within the historic surroundings of the medieval barn, the day offers a welcoming and informative introduction to family history research.
Activities for children will be available, making this a family-friendly event, and light refreshments will be on sale throughout the day.
This event forms part of Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture.
