Histon & Impington Open Gardens
The beautiful neighbouring villages of Histon and Impington in Cambridgeshire are delighted to host their 10th Open Gardens event, showcasing an inspiring collection of 16 unique gardens of all shapes and sizes.
This special anniversary year offers visitors the chance to explore a diverse range of green spaces, from a community garden in a repurposed public space to a therapeutic children’s garden, a graveyard wildlife garden, and a care home sensory garden, each highlighting how gardens enrich our lives.
The event also includes a variety of beautiful family gardens, from well-loved favourites to exciting new additions, alongside sustainable designs and even a botanist’s paradise, ensuring something for everyone.
Visitors can enjoy live music from local musicians (see website for details) and relax with tea, coffee and homemade cakes served in several gardens.
All proceeds will be shared between Cambridge Acorn Project, Deaf Reach, Breast Friends, and Histon & Impington Feast, supporting important causes.
Programmes available from from Histon Post Office, Topiary Tree, Gin House Flowers, St Andrews Centre Café and Station Stores (all cash only).
