The new Histon and Impington Repair Cafe invites the community to bring broken household items and receive help from skilled volunteers who will work with you to fix them. A wide variety of repairs can be undertaken, including electrical and mechanical items, textiles and clothing for sewing repairs, as well as sharpening, gluing, and woodwork—almost anything that can be carried. Volunteers aim to show how repairs are done so that, if the problem occurs again, you might be able to fix it yourself.
In addition to the usual repairs, visitors with computers still running Windows 10 can discuss options for moving forward. Simply mention this when booking your item using the form provided.

A cafe serving drinks and homemade cakes and savouries will be available throughout the event.
