Perchance To Dream: The Music of Ivor Novello

One of the most popular stage composers of the early twentieth century, Ivor Novello's musicals were among the last to be written in the ‘operetta’ style. 

The afternoon’s programme comprises songs and musical numbers from four shows - Glamorous Night, The Dancing Years, Perchance to Dream and King's Rhapsody, featuring vocals from Rachel Harland, Sarah Brandwood-Spencer playing the violin and Ian Buckle on piano.

Afternoon Tea is available from 3pm at £15 per person. This includes a selection of fine teas, cheese and fruit scones, finger sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes, served on vintage china in the Granary's beautiful foyer and cafe.
