The Sawston Fun Run & Walk is more than a race — it’s a fantastic opportunity for families and the community to come together, enjoy healthy exercise, and raise much‑needed funds for local charities and good causes.

2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the event, and the organising committee is planning to make it an extra‑special day. Since it began in 1986, the Sawston Fun Run & Walk has grown into the largest annual community event in the area, raising over £575,000 for charities and local organisations.

🛣️ Routes for Everyone

6.7km (4.2 miles) – competitive course for adults and older children 💪

3.5km (2.2 miles) – perfect for younger children, fancy‑dress entrants 🎭, and walkers 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

🏆 Awards & Certificates

Trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers in each category 🥇🥈🥉, and every participant will receive a certificate 📜.
