Summer at the Beach

Waterbeach's much-loved arts festival returns for its 12th year, bringing together visual arts, music, live installations, creative workshops, a book swap and a popular pop-up café. Set within the unique surroundings of the former Waterbeach Barracks, the festival celebrates the creativity of artists from Waterbeach, Cambridge and beyond.

Visitors can explore exhibitions featuring painters, ceramicists, photographers, printmakers, textile artists, sculptors and filmmakers, alongside the return of Sound Lab 103, showcasing immersive live electronic sound installations. Free drop-in workshops, including poetry, drawing, printmaking and graffiti, offer opportunities for all ages to get involved.

The festival is family-friendly, accessible and free to attend. Refreshments, homemade cakes and savoury treats will be available throughout the event at the on-site pop-up café.
