Summer of Play: Buzz

Join Billy Bumble as he shrinks down to bee-size and discovers the challenges bees face every day. Featuring spell-binding puppetry and a giant honeycomb set, this production takes audiences on a whirlwind adventure as Billy tries to avoid grumpy Mr Fred and the gaping jaws of Shredder the dog!

🌼 The experience finishes with audience members receiving wildflower seeds to plant at home, helping their black-and-yellow friends to flourish and thrive.

🎭 Created by the award-winning puppetry and theatre company Smoking Apples, Buzz is a fun, engaging and educational experience for the whole family. 🐝✨

Summer of Play also offers active games, craft and story days, theatre performances and nature discovery walks. Families can explore butterfly spotting in the Walled Garden, play giant chess or draughts on Church Field and be creative with the stage and music wall.
