Summer of Play: The Secret Garden

🌿 The Secret Garden follows Mary as she meets the kind-hearted Martha, the spirited Dickon and a cautious but friendly robin. Together, they uncover hidden pathways, long-kept secrets and the magic of a forgotten garden waiting to bloom once more.

✨ Audiences can experience the story in a truly immersive way, journeying alongside Mary through the stunning gardens at Wimpole Estate as her adventure unfolds all around them.

🎭 New Creations Collective is a Kent-based dance company that uses classical and contemporary artforms to tell timeless, hope-inspiring stories. The company aims to push the boundaries of traditional theatrical artforms by creating highly accessible performances that can be enjoyed outside of the theatre.

Summer of Play also offers active games, craft and story days, theatre performances and nature discovery walks. Families can explore butterfly spotting in the Walled Garden, play giant chess or draughts on Church Field and be creative with the stage and music wall.
