The Lion’s Birthday Bash!

The Lion at Ickleton is celebrating one year since reopening as a community-owned freehouse, and everyone is invited to a special Birthday Bash.

With the occasion falling on International Pineapple Day, the event will have a fun tropical theme, complete with summer vibes, BBQ food and refreshing cocktails and plenty of fun for all the family. 🌴🍹

A fantastic line-up of entertainment is planned throughout the day and into the evening. Live music will be provided by the talented Annabelle Pamela, followed by the ever-popular Last Orders, who have previously wowed crowds at Oktoberfest and the pub’s Beer Festival. Later in the evening, James will take to the decks with a selection of upbeat, feel-good classics guaranteed to fill the dancefloor. 🎶

Alongside the entertainment, visitors can enjoy The Lion’s excellent selection of craft beers, real ales, wines and soft drinks, as well as plenty of opportunities to relax and catch up with friends, neighbours and fellow supporters.
