The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc

The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc combine sounds of Scandinavia with music from the fiddle-rich traditions of the Shetlands. Playing on standard fiddles, octave fiddle, viola and Hardanger fiddle, they have given over 700 performances across Scandinavia, mainland Europe, America and the UK.

Their first album received a Norwegian Folk Award and a place in Songlines magazine’s Top of the World selection. RootsWorld described their 2020 album, Bonfrost, as 'something magnificent... arrangements which bring a delicious complexity to the tunes without ever losing their original pace and joy'.

Pre-concert food will be available to purchase. Ticket holders will be sent an email a week before the date of the concert with details of the menu and information on ordering.
