The spectacular 1940s weekend returns to Denny Abbey and the Farmland Museum for the late May Bank Holiday Weekend.

Step back in time for this special event celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day!

The museum will come alive with the sights, sounds, and spirit of the 1940s, offering a truly immersive experience for all ages.

Throughout the weekend, historical re-enactment groups will be onsite, bringing history to life with authentic displays, demonstrations, and stories from the era. Enjoy live music from the period, get involved in engaging children’s activities, and explore a variety of interactive exhibits and entertainment.

It’s a perfect way to commemorate this significant milestone in history, honouring the bravery and resilience of those who lived through the Second World War.

More details to follow soon – save the date and prepare to be transported back in time

The museum and Docky Box Cafe are open from 10am until 4pm each day.
