A Baroque Christmas at Wimpole

Eboracum Baroque are delighted to return to the Georgian splendour of St Andrew’s Church, Wimpole for a varied programme of festive music. The concert features seasonal vocal and instrumental works including arias from Handel’s Messiah and a performance of Bach’s celebratory cantata, Jauchzet Gott.

There will also be a pastoral recorder concerto, Organ music and traditional french Christmas carols by Charpentier and Lalande. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served at the end of the concert which will be a chance to mingle with the performers. A great way to start Christmas week!
