The last remaining airworthy Boeing B-17 ‘Flying Fortress’ in Europe, B-17G-BEDF Sally B, has been a resident at IWM Duxford since 1975. Owned and operated by B-17 Preservation, Sally B has flown in airshows, memorial flypasts and commemorative events, and serves as a memorial to the USAAF in Europe during the Second World War.
