Andy Cutting and Gudrun Walther in Concert

Gudrun Walther and Andy Cutting first met in the early 1990s. Both have exceptional independent performing careers, but it wasn't until 2020 that they started to work and tour together. Their debut album, Conversations, won the German Record Critics' Award.

Gudrun is one of the best known and most sought-after folk musicians in Germany. Her projects and recordings have received numerous awards such as the German Record Critics' Award, the German Folk Promotion Award, and the Irish Music Award.

Andy has won the BBC Folk Award for 'Musician of the Year' three times. Since 2015, he has worked regularly with the National Youth Folk Ensemble and is also a highly regarded composer.
