Wandlebury Country Park was once an important iron-age fort with a roundhouse village. There’s still lots to learn about this period of history and Cambridge University Department of Archaeology and the Cambridge Archaeological Unit are carrying out some digs to find out more.

This event promises fun for all the family, including excavation site tours, talking to archaeologists, dressing like an Iron Age person, and getting hands-on with prehistoric pottery techniques.

The activities will take place at the Education Centre/Stables, and directions to the dig sites will be provided from there.
