Cambourne Repair Cafe
Repair Cafes pair up people who have broken stuff with people who enjoy repairing things. This is Cambourne's 9th Repair Cafe and is running as part of Cambourne Village College’s Eco Festival.
The skilled volunteers can tackle a wide variety of repairs as follows:
Electrical and mechanical items such as clocks, toasters, blenders, kettles, lamps, CD players, coffee machines, headphones, textiles/clothing for sewing repair, bicycles, broken items such as pottery or picture frames that can be glued (items must be in a repairable state)
The repairers are brilliant and can fix a lot of things but there are no guarantees.
Refreshments available.
The Cambridgeshire Repair Café Network is administered by Cambridge Carbon Footprint.
Cambridge Carbon Footprint works to raise awareness of climate change issues and to support people in moving to low-carbon living.
