Cogwheel Counselling is excited to host the Cogwheel Cambridge Stride once again, a special community event for walkers and runners. This event aims to highlight the importance of mental wellbeing.

The Stride is a 27-mile self-guided walk around the perimeter of Cambridge, with shorter options of 13 and 6 miles for walkers and runners. The Stride uses the historic River Cam as the spine of the walk, with Grantchester Meadows as its most southerly point before it rejoins the Cam past Stourbridge Common on the northern part of the route. The Stride passes through a number of charming Cambridgeshire villages.

The 27-mile marathon walk starts and finishes in Histon, with registration from 7:30am to 8am. The 6- and 13-mile options start either in Histon or at Shelford Rugby Club. The 13-mile route has east and west options, while the 6-mile route is only on the eastern part, ending at Coton Rec. Walks/runs start between 8am and 10am. Runners can participate for fun, with no race or timings. A free minibus will return 6- and 13-mile participants to their starting points.
