Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne is at the forefront of his generation of English folk musicians as both a powerful and commanding singer and a masterful player of the Anglo concertina and melodeon.

Traditional ballads, songs and tunes form the basis of Cohen’s material, with a smattering of baroque, renaissance, ragtime, and music hall thrown in for good measure.

He has collaborated with John Spiers, Damien Barber, Rosie Hood and Stick in the Wheel. His passion for the English folk tradition has led to work in research, teaching and publishing, and he has contributed to two published books of English folk songs.
