This autumn Fulbourn Arts are presenting a short series of classic British films made in the 1960s, an era to look back on nostalgically through the lens of music and fashion.
The first movie in the ‘Screening the Sixties’ season is ‘Darling’ (1965) directed by John Schlesinger. Up-and-coming supermodel Diana tries to outmanoeuvre the two powerful and manipulative men in her life. Before long, Diana’s thirst for ever more money, fame and fun leads to things going sour.
Starring Julie Christie, Lawrence Harvey and Dirk Bogarde.
Drinks and snacks are available from the Fulbourn Institute Sports and Social Club bar, seating is around small tables.
More information is available on the Fulbourn Arts Cinema page.
