Drink & Draw with Mark Yeates

The Histon Smokehouse has invited local artists to set a theme for Drink & Draw evenings held on the third Wednesday of every month. Classes will run from 7:30pm to 9pm with guidance, tips and techniques shared by some favourite local illustrators, painters, and mixed media artists.

For this event, Mark Yeates demonstrates monoprinting techniques with the theme being ‘forgotten’. Mark has been teaching Art and Design for over 20 years, mainly in England, but also had a six-year stint in Egypt. He is also a practicing artist with a love of mixed media, drawing and printmaking. You can find him on YouTube where he shares tips and tricks for home printmaking and other creative ideas.

This is a free to attend event, however you are welcome to join friends for dinner and drinks in the restaurant and bring a cocktail or glass of vino up with you to the Estrella Room!
