Are you a keen photographer with a love of aviation history? How would you like the opportunity to photograph recreated historic scenes of a front-line fighter station during the Battle of Britain?
Duxford in a Different Light: Battle of Britain 85 is an outdoor, after-hours photography event dedicated to this pivotal moment in 20th-century history. Using lighting and living history actors, Spitfires, Hurricanes, and more will be brought to life against the backdrop of Duxford's historic buildings to create evocative opportunities for your photographs.
The event will culminate with a Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane performing both a dual engine run and individual engine runs; a pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin V12s creating an extra special photo opportunity and a unique sound.
