Empirical Quartet in Concert

Returning to the Granary following their sold-out concert in 2023, the multi award-winning Empirical Quartet are among the most admired and individual-sounding bands in contemporary jazz.

The quartet has become known for its now legendary Pop-up Jazz Lounge; a bold exercise in audience outreach which has seen the band turn disused shops in train stations and shopping malls in London, Berlin, Bath, Birmingham and Cheltenham into jazz clubs for a week at a time.

Time Out London described the Quartet as “exactly what top-class modern jazz should be – trailblazing yet wholly respectful of tradition”.

Pre-concert food will be available to purchase. Ticket holders will be sent an email a week before the date of the concert with details of the menu and information on ordering.
