The workshop is suitable for ages 16+
Join Blended Monkey‘s guest junk journalling tutor, Zakiya from Fanoggins, for a Junk Journalling Workshop where you’ll learn how to use a 3-hole pamphlet stitch to create a 4-signature hardbacked journal with a beautiful fabric spine.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and perfect for those who have already created a spiral-bound journal and want to enhance their work with stitching. This sits between spiral binding and Coptic binding (which Blended Monkey will be offering soon).
The Blended Monkey team supply everything you need to craft your junk journal, but you’re welcome to bring your own photographs, magazines, old books, drawings and ephemera to use in your journal. You can also bring your own fabric for the spine if you prefer.
The fabulous on-site Docky Box Tearoom has some truly scrumptious food to tempt you at lunchtime with plenty of delicious treats, so you won’t go hungry.
See the website for more details and to book, or email Blended Monkey at enquiries@blendedmonkey.co.uk or give them a call on 07417 522366.
Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
