Folk Tales and Fiddles

The Library Presents is a vibrant and inclusive programme of arts activities taking place in towns across Cambridgeshire and online. Events often include music, theatre, art, dance, storytelling, comedy, puppetry and digital arts.

Come along for an evening of local folk tales and brilliant contemporary folk music. Marianne Powell, local storyteller, will be telling two Fenland tales – spooky, mysterious and uplifting. Orphean Sprig, instrumental folk band, will bring their trademark arrangements creating a rich texture and original sound.

Expect foot-tapping tunes, fascinating tales and a hint of audience participation (for those who want it).
