Grow Your Own Cut Flowers - March 2026

Join Debbie from Nature's Posy for a wonderful 3 hour workshop where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of flowers!

Launched in 2024 and back this year, these workshops are perfect if you’re interested in growing cut flowers for your own use at home.

At the end of the session you’ll go away with a wealth of knowledge, pots of seeds to grow on and some ready germinated seedlings to grow on giving you a head start!

Over a morning at the flower field, we’ll cover;

• How to choose what to grow in the space you have
• Succession sowing
• Recommended varieties, including hardy annuals, half hardy annuals and perennials
• Practical experience of seed sowing and pricking out; you’ll take your seeds and seedlings home with you to grow on
• Guidance on raising your seeds successfully
• Top tips on cutting and conditioning your flowers

This is her signature workshop and is perfect if you’d like to learn more about cutting and arranging flowers, or simply if you’re looking for a peaceful morning surrounded by nature!

You'll spend an hour or so touring the flower field and selecting some beautiful blooms. Once picked, and whilst they condition, there will be time for a quick cuppa and a piece of cake, before getting on to arranging Spring flowers into an arrangement.
