Histon and Impington Repair Cafe

Histon and Impington Repair Cafe invites the community to bring broken household items and receive help from skilled volunteers who will work with you to fix them. A wide variety of repairs can be undertaken including mechanical, electrical or electronic, including sewing machines and mowers - along with tool sharpening and repairs to clothing, textiles, furniture and ceramics - almost anything you can carry. Volunteers aim to show how repairs are done so that, if the problem occurs again, you might be able to fix it yourself.

A cafe, run in partnership with Cambridge Carbon Footprint, will be serving drinks, homemade cakes and goodies will be available throughout the event.

This community initiative is run by HI Sustainability in partnership with Histon Baptist and St Andrew’s Histon Eco Church Groups.

Booking is now open and is highly recommended to avoid long waiting times for walk‑in slots.
