The Ivo Neame Quartet returns to the Granary, featuring some of the finest UK-based jazz instrumentalists. Formed in 2017, the band has delighted audiences throughout the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, with their energetic improvised music. All four musicians have strong individual voices, and the sound of the band is built on dynamic group interplay of Ivo’s original compositions.
The quartet is made up of Ivo Neame, a multi-award winning, internationally renowned pianist, composer and bandleader who has established himself as one of the most innovative and dynamic figures in the contemporary jazz scene; George Crowley, who has steadily established himself as an acclaimed key player; Tom Farmer, a member of the award-winning Empirical Quartet and a valued side-man; and James Maddren, one of the most sought-after drummers in Europe.
Pre-concert food will be available to purchase. Ticket holders will be sent an email a week before the date of the concert with details of the menu and information on ordering.
