Matt Ford Trio - From Broadway to Hollywood

Granary favourite Matt Ford makes a welcome return with a programme of Broadway and Hollywood classics that define the golden age of stage and silver screen. Expect a sparkling collection of George Gershwin’s jazz-infused melodies, Cole Porter's witty and elegant lyrics, and Irving Berlin’s unforgettable standards.

Matt frequently appears with the John Wilson Orchestra, the RTÉ and BBC Concert Orchestras, and has also worked with Royal Northern Sinfonia, City of Birmingham Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. He has regularly performed at the BBC Proms with live broadcasts on BBC television and Radio 3. His many acclaimed albums include collaborations with Foden's Band, The Fat Chops Big Band and The Len Phillips Big Band.
