Open Farm Sunday at Meads Farm

Come and visit a busy arable family farm! At Meads Farm, they grow wheat for bread, barley for beer, oilseed rape for oil and sugar beet — and they also have some lovely sheep.

This is a great chance to see how your food is produced, talk to the farmers who grow it, and meet the people involved in running the farm, providing habitat for wildlife and caring for the land.

There will be tractor trailer rides, food, and plenty to do for all ages!

Open Farm Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to connect farmers and the public, discover the world of farming, and learn more about how farmers produce food, nurture nature and protect the environment for future generations. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Open Farm Sunday — making it the biggest and best yet!
