Discover Nature-Friendly Farming at Little Wilbraham.
As part of Open Farm Sunday, visitors are invited to learn about the plans and progress for more nature-friendly farming on the land in Little Wilbraham, situated between Cambridge and the Fens.
During the guided farm tour, participants will hear about the implementation of regenerative agriculture on the arable land, various wildlife and biodiversity projects, the work of native breed cattle in conservation grazing, and the management of reed and wetland habitats.
Additionally, there will be a static machinery display in the farmyard.
The walk covers approximately 2.5 miles and visitors should allow 2-3 hours for the visit. Please note that the tour will mostly take place on public footpaths that are not suitable for buggies. While the cows will be visible, there will be no direct interaction with them as they are not used to visitors.
