Singer, harpist and composer Rachel Newton draws on old poems and ballads to create a rich, original contemporary sound. Previously awarded Musician of the Year at both the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award and the Scots Trad Music Award, Rachel has been shortlisted in the Scottish Album of the Year Award for two of her albums.

A skilled collaborator, Rachel is a member of The Furrow Collective, The Lost Words: Spell Songs and duo project Heal & Harrow with fiddler Lauren MacColl. Her latest album, To The Awe, is a tribute to the women who have inspired Rachel and is influenced by her recent work around the representation of women in the music industry.

Pre-concert food will be available to purchase. Ticket holders will be sent an email a week before the date of the concert with details of the menu and information on ordering.
