Rob Buckland: Short Stories for Saxophone

Equally at home as soloist, chamber musician and improviser, Rob Buckland is renowned for his distinctive sound, technical mastery and superb musicianship, and his innovative approach to the saxophone and its repertoire.

Following the concert, saxophonists are invited to join Rob for an informal 90 minute workshop, playing specially selected group pieces and discussing ways to approach and improve your saxophone playing, whatever level or style.

The workshop is open to saxophonists of all ages and abilities. After booking, please email to indicate which saxophone you will be bringing, and an estimation of your level. This will help in the preparation of suitable ensemble parts for everyone.
