Roman Week - Summer At The Museums

The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey are running a different theme each week of the Summer Holidays. This week is Roman Week where visitors are invited to have a go at making Roman mosaics and re-assembling pottery.

Roman themed craft activities will also be running throughout the day including the opportunity to make your own Roman laurel wreath headdress to help you feel the part.

Combine your visit with a refreshment stop at The Docky Box Cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and ice creams available, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The museum will also be open.

Craft activities are free, but donations to the museum are welcome to cover the cost of materials.
