Sawston Coronation Weekend

A great weekend is planned in Sawston to celebrate the occasion of the King’s Coronation.

The events starts on Saturday with the Sawston Fun Run with over 1,000 runners and walkers!

The Sawston Coronation group then brings you the Royal British Legion and the St Mary’s Church Parade. Exciting events are planned for the evening with the children’s disco, followed by live music with a variety of food vans on the Spicers field. The bar will be open throughout the evening serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 

Activities are still in the planning stage for Sunday, but so far the organisers are excited to announce the return of the dog show and a new doggie disco brought to you by Ronnie Booth. The adrenaline packed family sports day returns, offering an array of medals and not forgetting the classic car and bike show, music and many more stalls and activities.

Families are encouraged to bring and enjoy a picnic, but ice cream and food vans will be available if you prefer.
