Shelford Fun Run

The fast and flat Shelford Fun Run is a measured 5k course on closed roads through the villages of Great and Little Shelford. The UKA registered 5k race and 5k fun run & walk are both chip timed and will set off in two separate waves on the same course.

For serious runners it’s a great chance to register a personal best!

For beginners and family groups the event is perfect! You can jog or walk at your own pace, enjoying the villages car free and savouring the atmosphere.

Plus, back for a second year, inclusive sports champions Power 2 Inspire, are bringing their Super Sensory 1k (SS1k) to run alongside the 5k. The SS1K will involve a 1,000m flat course and, as a truly inclusive event, participants can travel the distance in any way they want, including walking, wheeling and running.

To add to the fun there are five sensory stations along the route: celebrating smell, touch, sight, hearing and taste.
