Shire Horse Experience Days - 10 July

Spend a day at Wimpole Estate with their resident Shire horses in this unique experience. You'll learn about harnessing and get hands-on practice putting it on the Shires. You'll also long-rein a Shire using verbal instructions and reins to navigate obstacles in the paddock, before taking the reins to drive a one-horse carriage through the estate. At the end of the day, you'll help turn the horses out into the field.

No previous experience with horses is necessary, but participants must be over 16 years old and fit enough to walk at pace on uneven ground.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
