Silk Painting Workshop with Blended Monkey

Learn to create a beautiful 55 cm x 55 cm silk scarf or wall hanging in this relaxing and therapeutic silk painting session. You'll trace your chosen design on the silk, attach it to a frame, and apply gutta contouring medium for outlines.

After lunch, you'll mix colors to create your palette and paint the silk. The session will also cover salt techniques for interesting effects. Finally, you'll fix your work to ensure the colors are fast and safe to take home. Louise from Blended Monkey will guide you through the process, with real-time footage on a large screen showing each step up close.

The fabulous on-site Docky Box Tearoom will be open serving hot and cold beverages, scrumptious cakes, light-bite lunches and hot food.
