Sleeping Beauty

The Over Players are excited to announce their latest show, Sleeping Beauty.

The evil fairy Carabosse lays a curse on baby Princess Aurora at her christening, declaring that by her 18th birthday she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. The good fairy Peaceful weakens the curse, so Aurora will instead fall into a 100-year sleep, to be awakened by true love’s kiss.

On her 18th birthday, as everyone prepares for the celebration, Prince Orlando arrives, and he and Aurora quickly fall in love. Meanwhile, the King, Queen, and Billy are making a terrible mess in the kitchen while trying to bake the princess a birthday cake, before running in to trouble with a mischievous rat. . . . pandemonium ensues!
