Every Thursday and Friday during the summer holidays, children can join themed craft activities celebrating all things Fenland and farming-related!

From 24–25 July, celebrate the countryside creatures that call the Fens home. On 31 July to 1 August, explore the vast collection of farm machinery and get creative with machine-inspired crafts. Then, on 14 and 15 August, get crafty with colourful creations inspired by fruits and vegetables you might find in the museum allotment.

Spot wildflowers around the site and make beautiful floral crafts on 21 and 22 August. Finally, on 28 and 29 August, inspired by the Makers' Market taking place on the 25 August, create crafts based on traditional skills and craftspeople.

Combine your visit with a refreshment stop at The Docky Box Cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and ice creams available, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The museum will also be open.
