Which skills of the past do we still use today?

Come along to the Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey and learn about local crafts and skills that the people of the past used and still use today. From woodworking and weaving to working on the forge, there will be items from all these crafts on display from the Farmland Museum collection.

There will also be the opportunity to learn how to make a rag rug and weave your own band from natural resources, take part in free craft activities and follow the museum trail!

Combine your visit with a refreshment stop at The Docky Box Cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and ice creams available, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This event leads up to a Heritage Craft Bank Holiday weekend event on Sunday and Monday, where local makers will be displaying their craftsmanship.
