Learn about the people and way of life at Denny Abbey in the 12th century.

Denny Abbey was lived in for over 800 years, but what was life really like all that time ago when the Knights Templar were here?

The Knights Templar used Denny Abbey as a retirement home for over 100 years. Come along and take a look at a real Knights Templar skeleton found during excavations in the 1970s and learn more about their way of life through his bones.

You can also take part in free, themed craft activities and follow a fact-finding trail to learn more about the Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey.

Combine your visit with a refreshment stop at The Docky Box Cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and ice creams available, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
