In celebrating the beauty of Spring this exhibition at gallery above & beyond showcases the work of a group local artists.

Diana Catchpole's exquisite work perfectly capturing the flowers, birds and animals which signal Spring's arrival. Her inventive and charming work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the South Cambridgeshire landscape, mixed in with a sense of the magic and fantastic.

Diana's work is backed up by the striking still lives of Clare Padfield, the bouquets of beautiful flowers by Bardfield group artist Denise Hoyle and golden bee portraits by Anna Alcock.

Jim Anderson from his nearby Gallery Linton Arts participates, with 3 works taking a comical look at what goes on in the garden above and below ground, and finally the gallery shares their passion for the botanical work of Charles Rennie Macintosh renowned as the architect of the iconic Glasgow School of Art.

After visiting the exhibition take the opportunity to check out Etcetera, a collection of vintage and collectibles housed in the Green Barn behind the gallery.
