The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey are running a different theme each week of the Summer Holidays.

This week is Victorian week which allows visitors to have a go at an authentic Victorian wash-day and learn the skill of rag-rugging. Demonstrations will be at 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm and are free to take part, so come along and try your hand!

There will also be Victorian themed crafts on offer throughout the day. Crafts include the opportunity to make your own Zoetrope – a Victorian toy.

Combine your visit with a refreshment stop at The Docky Box Cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and ice creams available, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The museum will also be open.

Craft activities are free, but donations to the museum are welcome to cover the cost of materials.
