Green Woodturning Workshop

Following on from the successful green woodturning workshop held at Denny Abbey and the Farmland Museum last year, the team from Blended Monkey Crafts will run another workshop this summer!

Join Simon for a day of getting back to nature where you will learn how to take a log of green wood, trim it with an axe, draw it to shape using a shave horse and a draw knife and then use the pole lathe to learn the process of spindle turning – creating beads and coves. You'll be able to take your creations home with you.

The fabulous on-site Docky Box Tearoom has some truly scrumptious food to tempt you at lunchtime with plenty of delicious treats, so you won’t go hungry.
