Grow Your Own Cut Flowers

Join Debbie from Nature's Posy for a wonderful 2 hour workshop where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of flowers!

Launched in 2024 and back this year, these workshops are perfect if you’re interested in growing cut flowers for your own use at home.

At the end of the session, you’ll go away with a wealth of knowledge, pots of seeds to grow on and some ready germinated seedlings to grow on giving you a head start!

Over an afternoon at the flower field, you’ll cover;

🌱 How to choose what to grow in the space you have
🔁 Succession sowing
🌼 Recommended varieties, including hardy annuals, half‑hardy annuals and perennials
🪴 Practical experience of seed sowing and pricking out — you’ll take your seeds and seedlings home with you to grow on
🌤️ Guidance on raising your seeds successfully
💐 Top tips on cutting and conditioning your flowers
