Have you ever wanted to be in a band? Look cool with a guitar slung over your shoulder? Twiddling drumsticks high in the air? This was the dream of four friends: Rodney the Donkey, Rufus the Dog, Mimi the Cat and Spockerel the Cockerel. But to fulfil their destiny they must brave the woods where only bandits dwell.

Theatre of Widdershins retells this Brothers Grimm story for modern times in a charismatic and engaging style with beautiful and imaginative hand-made props. 

Theatre of Widdershins was created by Andy Lawrence in 1994, performing in festivals, theatres. libraries and schools. Andy is a self-taught puppet maker whose previous work includes costume commissions for the BBC, puppet and prop making for theatre companies and collaborations with the Norwich Puppet Theatre and the Roald Dahl Story Company.

Whilst there combine your visit with a refreshment stop at the on-site cafe where you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks and freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, pastries and cakes.
