At Fen End Farm, there is a deep commitment to caring for the environment—both locally and globally. The farm was converted to organic in 2003, and since then, nearly 4km of native hedgerows have been replanted and a one-hectare woodland has been created. Wildlife margins are maintained around all fields, and the pastures are sown with native meadow seed mixes that support both pollinators and livestock. Grazing is carefully managed to improve soil health and create habitats where threatened species like skylarks can thrive. The farm also generates all its electricity on-site using a 6kW wind turbine and 40kW of solar panels.
